I designed this house for people who love both city and country living. I wanted the houses to be tasteful and sophisticated, using modern, stylish furnishings, but in the context of a lovely soft, warm and attractive country home.
The interior has a sunny palette of mid blues and turquoises with hints of buttercup yellow, painterly florals and graphical patterns create a sophisticated scheme evoking the water and the flowers growing along the nearby river. My favourite feature is the wonderful stylish wing chair in yellow that forms the main focal point of the living room.
The master bedroom is a stylish retreat in a profusion of beautiful floral wallpaper and complementing fabrics. With its elegant deep pink chaise and deeply buttoned bed, it creates the perfect setting for falling asleep to the sounds of the river.
